What are Cookies?
A cookie is a small text file, saved by the browser on the user’s computer/smartphone/tablet when visiting websites. Every user manages and controls their cookies at any time from their browser settings and can delete them when they leave the website they just visited. What kind of cookies are we talking about?

Cookies strictly necessary for the operation of AMJane websites do not collect any information about the user that may be used for marketing purposes and are essential to use AMJane websites. These cookies are exempt from the consent requirement in accordance with Article 129 of the Electronic Communications Act of 13 June 2005 (see points 3.1 and seq., of the opinion 04/2012 of the Article 29 Working Party, independent European advisory body bringing together the members of the various national authorities for the protection of personal data about exceptions to the consent requirement for cookies).
Functional cookies are used to store the user’s login data, to secure the user’s login to the AMJane website, to provide live assistance. These cookies do not collect any information about the user that can be used for marketing purposes. These cookies are also exempt from the consent requirement (see points 3.1 and 3.3 of the opinion mentioned above).
Authentication cookies allow users to identify themselves and access secure content. These cookies do not collect any information about the user that can be used for marketing purposes. These cookies are also exempt from the consent requirement (see section 3.2 of the opinion mentioned above).
Performance cookies allow AMJane to collect information about how users browse the AMJane websites, and to adapt and improve these websites accordingly. AMJane is unable to identify users using this type of cookie, and all data collected by these cookies are processed anonymously. These cookies do not collect any information about the user that can be used for marketing purposes. These cookies are placed and used on the basis on the consent given by the user.
Targeting/third parties cookies. AMJane could possibly conduct advertising campaigns, including the use of third parties who may sometimes place cookies (or similar technologies) to evaluate the success of the campaign, or show targeted advertising, adapted to the interests of the users, or to limit the number of views per user. For example, links to the social networks or to videos on YouTube -who are third parties- can, if appropriate, place cookies on the websites of AMJane. These cookies are placed and used based of the consent given by the user.
When a user refuses to use this type of cookies, the user can only access pages and services that do not require these cookies. The parts of AMJane websites that technically allow the inclusion of third-party content -and therefore third-party cookies- will no longer be accessible and a message will inform the users.

Session cookies are automatically removed from the computer’s hard drive or the user’s browser memory when he/she logs out and/or closes the browser.
Permanent cookies are stored on the computer’s hard drive or in the user’s browser memory for a limited period of time (minutes, days or years) after the browser is disconnected or closed.

eDock – A website for a fast-moving micro-mobility start-up
eDock is a startup in the world of micro-mobility. They provide electric scooters and bike charging stations, for free, across your city.
In March 2020, eDock was in fast need of a landing page, to be able to present their start-up when meeting potential investors. The page also needed to collect end users feedback. Over the course of a week-end, I delivered a landing page fitted to eDock’s objectives and identity.
KOIS – Web design & copywriting for impact
KOIS is an impact finance firm, for whom I head external communications. As part of my job, I namely web designed and copywrited their whole website.
Tous Ensemble Handicap – An all round strategy, identity, and crowdfunding campaign
Tous Ensemble Handicap is a non-profit for which AMJane is designing the whole communication strategy. This currently includes creating a visual identity such as its logo and general description, helping with crowdfunding efforts, press and social media communications.
Behind the public eye, AMJane also developed its presentation & storyline for investment purposes.
Notably, AMJane successfully set up the crowdfunding campaign and its media support in 2020.
