Web design

Introduction

The Refugee Impact Bond is a financing mechanism looking to build economic resilience for refugees and host communities in Jordan and Lebanon. The project was launched in 2021 by the Ikea foundation, Novo Nordisk foundation, the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation, the U.S. international development finance corporation, Ferd, the Near East Foundation and KOIS. In 2021, the bond's management team reached out for help designing the website that would serve as information support for the duration of the Bond.

Design that serves a larger purpose

I have to admit that I was very proud to support this ambitious and groundbreaking project by designing the website that will serve as the hub for all refugee impact bond related information, successes and learnings. The website is a true testimonial of the impact this project aims to create. Working with the many parties behind the project was a very enriching experience, and the result speaks to that: a corporate design, that lets the human aspect of the project shine through.

What the client thought

This project arose out of our team's wish in 2016 to contribute their talents towards the resolution of the livelihoods needs of Syrian refugees and vulnerable host communities in the Middle-East. Five years on, the needs are still huge -and increasing. To learn more about the DIB, visit the wonderful website designed by AMJane.
